Storybound is a radio-theater program designed for the podcast age. Hosted by Jude Brewer and with original music composed for each episode, the podcast features the voices of today’s top literary icons reading their essays, poems, and fiction. The first season of the show was featured on Spotify, Spotify, TuneIn, Stitcher, Castbox, Pocket Casts, and Pandora, and was covered in the New York Times, the AV Club, and a dozen other outlets.
In each episode of Storybound, listeners will be treated to their favorite authors and writers reading some of their most impactful stories, designed with powerful and immersive sound environments.

Season four stories include, but are not limited to:
· New York Times bestselling author Chuck Klosterman reading an excerpt of his novel Raised in Captivity with original music composition from Portico Quartet.
· New York Times bestselling author and editor of Medium.com’s ZORA, Morgan Jerkins reads an excerpt from her fiction debut Caul Baby with original music from the French Cassettes.
· Sunday Times bestselling author Matt Haig will read an excerpt from The Midnight Library with original music from Floater and Robert Wynia.
· Buzzfeed Emerging Writers Fellow, journalist, and podcast host Nichole Perkins reads an excerpt of her forthcoming memoir Sometimes I Trip on How Happy We Could Be with original music from Dustin O’Halloran.
· Globe & Mail reporter and Kobo Emerging Writer Prize Winner Omar El Akkad reads an excerpt of his forthcoming novel What Strange Paradise.
· New York Times and The Atlantic writer Tamara Winfrey Harris reads an excerpt from her book Dear Black Girl with original music from Au Revoire Simone.
The season will also have original recordings from folks like Ben Folds of Ben Folds Five, Joesph Fink of Welcome to Night Vale, Leigh Newman, Elizabeth McCracken, Dawnie Walton, and a dozen other acclaimed authors.
